Good coverage (based on O2 Network).
Good customer service.
Easy to understand tariffs and it's easy to change the tariff.
Easy to purchase additional credit.
So far no problems.
I gave up with Orange and reviewed the mobile service providers. I chose Tesco as it seemed to have good network coverage and an easy to understand set of tariffs (pay as you go). I joined the network upon buying a Sony Ericcson K750i phone.
I purchased the phone from the local Tesco site without any problem. The phone was activated and the network started working after I made one paid for phone call. No problems. I contacted Tesco about transferring my old Orange mobile phone number. I was able to contact the Tesco customer services practically instantly, the lady at the other end was polite and very careful to explain the whole PAC process. Unlike Orange!
The PAC process ran exactly as the Tesco Customer Service person explained and they even sent me a written letter several days before to remind me about the PAC process and what was going to happen.
The service so far has been excellent. Call quality good. Customer service good. All in all a very good experience that other mobile service providers could learn from.
