Good Points
Great food.
Well presented.
Nice surroundings.

Bad Points
When we go there and the word gets out "Dad's paying", it ends up like a family reunion!

General Comments
The Nag's Head in Thornton, Merseyside is becoming a regular "haunt" on a Sunday. A nice lazy day. A wonderful meal, and even the beer is "excellent".

My family stopped me from going for Sunday lunch because I always had something to moan about. (Grumpy Old Men?)

I'd heard this local pub did excellent meals, but would it stand up to the "Grumpy" Test?

...It passed all the tests with flying colours!

The waitress tells you "5 or 10 minutes wait Sir. That OK?"

You get your table "laid" with knives and forks wrapped in red napkins, and all your order arrives "together".

The food "looks" attractive. It's nicely cooked and HOT, and there's plenty of it!

No Rush. And even a "courtesy call" - "everyone OK?"

Lots of please and thank-you - polite staff.

An excellent menu, with plenty of choice, which means our family reunion on a Sunday is getting bigger!

I highly recommend.
