Good Points

The number of locations-- been to a few. Some are great, others are crowded...

Bad Points

Pushy sales, "fine print" contract that ending up costing me a lot!

General Comments

I was disappointed with the value of this gym from the start. First, when I asked that I not pay the company through direct debit, but rather get a bill, I believe I was told that wasn't an option. Thus, I was charged fees when I forgot to update my info when I got a new debit card and I went on paying a month to month membership after I thought my membership had been up. When I went to cancel, I still had to pay the following month because of their 30 day notice. I know that was in the contract, but that was why I asked for a bill in the first place instead of the direct debit!

Also, their "complimentary" personal training session was basically a sales pitch. Very disappointing.

It just seems very manipulating to me. I was sick of getting "refer a friend" flyers in the mail, but no reminders of "we've been charging you because you haven't updated your card" or "your yearly contract is almost up" I guess it's what to expect from a big company. I ended up losing a bunch of money. I think there are better value ones out there for those looking for a good gym in Boston.
