Strong ginger taste. Warming and satisfying.
Bad Points
None, as far as I'm concerned, since I wouldn't want to drink it on it's own.
General Comments
It makes the best hot toddy I've ever had and is lovely to cook with as well. I live in the United States, but on my first visit to the UK years ago, I was introduced to this wine and bring back bottles of it every year. Take a jigger of the ginger wine, a shot of GOOD whiskey, honey, lemon and hot water and you'll never again be cold on a winter's day.
