Loyal
Well behaved
Good bark for guarding
Responsive to training
Don't like getting muddy paws
Not good with children
They can nip and bite, and they don't like sudden movements, so Shelties and children are not a good mix. They usually don't like getting muddy paws. However, one of mine grew up with a Golden Retriever, and so occasionally comes back with a bit of mud round the edges, but not a lot. Their long coat requires thorough brushing. A lovely dog.
(Not sure how you can vote on value for money??? but my dogs were the best purchase ever, so 10/10. They make me so happy).
