Great 15.4 Inch screen looks great. This laptop comes with 1GB memory, 120GB hard drive and an AMD-TL50 dual-core 1.6ghz processor that acts like a single core laptop - very confusing.
Bad, bad battery life and it acts like a single solo core, not a dual core. It's slow to boot up and why can't they stick a graphics card like the x700 or maybe even the x1600 into this - they don't really cost a lot to these big companies do they, and it's 2007 so even the cheaper laptops have to be buffed up a little in my opinion!
The Acer Aspire 5102 is a great looking laptop but it acts like a single core. The graphics are meant to be the express 1100 which is better then the previous model, the express 200m on-board graphics, but to me it seems the same. The keyboard is very nice, slick and easy to press over with fingers and it doesn't come with the Windows installation disk - just the paperwork. I know this might be a short review but make sure you consider what I have said about the graphics and confusing dual core problem - thanks
