Deceleration and then acceleration on Motorway. Air conditioning. Inside of car doesn't wear very well.
We bought our Citroen C3 Desire in Cardiff and I wish we never had. Only after one month we had problems with it. The most dangerous of faults is that at 60MPh - 70Mph the car suddenly decelerates and then accelerates. The engine management light comes on and goes off. When I took the car, just one month old, to the dealership they plugged it in and said that no fault was found and therefore they couldn't do anything! This has since happened 6 times, the dealership and Citroen seem totally disinterested in sorting the problem out. I have even written to the MD himself who basically said that I needed to deal with Customer services.
Today, we hit lucky, we came across a man who repairs faults with cars such as mine and he said that Citoroen C2 and C3s have had this as a common fault. It is apparently the gearbox sensors and he said that the only way Citroen will find the fault is if they are actually with me when this happens. Now that I have found the fault I am going to march down there tomorrow and demand that they look at the gear box.
I have been disgusted with the CS at Evans Halshaw and Citroen and cannot wait to get rid of the car. Problems with air con too.
