General Comments
This is an amazing gun. It may be expensive but you do get what you pay for here. Some of the other reviewers have given it low marks because they don't like how it handles or whatever, but the gun its self is almost perfect. The power is a bit under the claim but it is very accurate and you still wont really find another pistol thats more powerful. It looks great and the quality is top class.
The pistol is a bit heavy but this isn't really a bad point as it helps to cut down on the recoil a bit and the weight is very well distributed across the pistol so its not top heavy or anything. No other reviewers have really mentioned hunting with this pistol, so i will. If you are going to use it for hunting then get the 22. The trick is to get as close to the animal as possible. Its possible to take rabbits and pigeons at around 15 yards if your very lucky but due to the fact it is a pistol not a rifle, getting close to the animal wont be to hard. Squirrels are also easy to kill at up to 20 yards. Just get to know the gun and practice your aim. before buying this i'd recommend looking at the Cometa Indian as well.

Air guns - Pyramyd Air Report: The Beeman P1/HW45 is one of my all
Spring-piston air pistols are usually pretty anemic, but Beeman's P1, which is made for them by Weihrauch and also sold as the HW45, is an exception!

"If you are going to use it for hunting then get the 22"
Many people frown on 'hunting' with an air pistol. I have killed several rats with a pistol at close range but I would not dream of trying a long range shot at any living creature - not even a rat. With a suitable air rifle you can virtually guarantee a clean kill but with a pistol you have a very high chance of causing an injury and a painful, lingering death. Is that really what you want to do?
I could confidently hit the head of a rat at 10 metres with my HW45. Beyond that it would be a lottery. Please think twice before risking causing pain and suffering.
