The price of the cars at Dan Dooley were better than many of the US companies.
We had to make an insurance claim and feel we were taken advantage of. We chose a higher deductible (DUMB) and were charged the full amount for the repair, even though Dooley could not prove that the costs were that much. We had our own estimates done and showed the repair costing significantly less. They were non-responsive through the whole process. The frustrating part was that we submitted substantial supporting documents and Dooley refused to respond to our questions and just produced the pre-signed Visa slip we had to sign to get the car. It's hard to argue against someone who is technically silent. Unfortunately, Wells Fargo (our credit card company) said we really couldn't argue against the signature.
Even though I initially liked the company, I would never work with them again. My experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I tried to resolve this through the credit card company but Dooley never provided documents to prove their actual costs (detailed billing) and Wells Fargo chose to believe them. I would not recommend working with them and, in fact, are actively telling people NOT to use this company. If you do, get the highest level of insurance to protect yourself.
