I bought one of these as soon as it was released. I've found it to be a very good camera, easy to use, light and very versatile.
It eats batteries! I use rechargeable batteries and if I'm turning the camera on and off a few times the batteries are soon flat. This may point to a problem with the batteries themselves but generally it has been the same with other normal throw away batteries too.
Last night after approximately 13 months of use the camera just stopped working. No lights or power. I was between taking shots and it suddenly switched off. I shall contact Olympus and see what they suggest. Annoying as it is about six weeks out of the year's warranty.
The Olympus FE100 is a good camera that will hopefully soon be repaired.
