General Comments

I bought this for £250 from Ebay and it was bought "as new" from someone who'd never used it. I own two rifles, an Air Arms S410 and an HW 95. I've fitted this unit to my 95 to make it a dedicated NV set up. The NVRS-F fits easily to the dovetail scope rails on the rifle. Zero-ing it was fairly simple. This unit has a lens cap on the front with a pinhole in it to allow use during the day. Under no condition should the unit be used with the cap lifted up! At night you simply flip it up. Performance was better than expected, this being a Gen 1 unit. There is an IR illuminator and that triples the range of the unit. With the IR off, you can see out to about 20 yards (it makes everything twice as bright as normal eyesight at night which has got used to the dark). With the IR on, range is extended to about 50 yards and everything is much brighter. Anyway, definitely useful against rabbits and better than a lamp because the rabbits cannot spot the IR. Worth buying.
