“I have had a lot of minor problems (mainly electrical)...”

Good Points
Good points... it looks really good, it handles well, and for a 1600 it does go. The fuel consumption is really good and it also has a big boot for such a small car. The interior is a bit plasticy, but for an old design it does look OK, better than its sister car the pug 106.

Bad Points
The build quality isn't good, it rattles a lot due to the hard suspension, especially when you happen to be driving down a road that has a lot of pot holes. A few people have also complained about the pedals being a bit close together, they do have big feat though. Another thing is the gear box - it's not the smoothest gear change in the world.

General Comments
I have had a lot of minor problems (mainly electrical) with my Citroen Saxo VTR - the air bag light seems to have a mind of its own (goes on and off) and I've had to replace both driveshafts since I've owned it. But don't let these problems put you off, the positives really do out weigh the negatives - I've driven lots of cars being a mechanic but only a few make me smile as much as my vtr.
