Good Points

Superb road holding, looks, styling, speaker system, cruise control, aircon. Quiet - a pleasure to drive. A positive handling vehicle. The only car I have owned that I always look forward to driving, feel good in and would buy another.


Bad Points

Speed cameras, as another reviewer said but use the cruise control to save you.
Not a bad point really but it happened to me: Make sure your car has the tracking set by laser. If it is out at all at either the front or back, the car will understeer or oversteer. It should feel positive and go exactly where you point it on the road. Its cheap to fix and well worth the effort.


General Comments

My Mazda 6 TS2 2.0 141 is a Jun 05 model - has done 70,000 miles and no problems so far. I bought it at 58000 miles and did some research on reliability. I have found no bad comments to date. The road holding is superb, it has got me out of scrapes. Enjoy that wonderful BOSE 7 speaker 6 x CD surround sound system. It is a really fantastic car and much better than the 307 HDI I had before.
You feel safe in it, with traction control, ABS, Air con etc, it is really good value for money. Well done Mazda.

I am due a new tyre soon - They are a common size - so about £45 each for Dunlop and £70 for Michelin each.
I note that the upgraded 136 model from late 05 has changed little on the outside - if it ain't broken don't try and fix it.

A word about the estate though: the one catch lever for the rear seats is absolutely fabulous.
