Excellent fuel economy
Plenty of legroom in front (I am 6'4")
Very good spec. with "extras" fitted as standard (like heated door mirrors, electric mirrors and windows etc.)
Height adjustable seat and steering
Steering mounted audio controls
Not much legroom in the back
Price a little on the high side
No option for air-con on 1.3GL model
I bought my Suzuki Swift 1.3GL new in June 2006. I wanted a small car and checked out most of the "opposition".One of the main reasons I chose the Suzuki was because of the front legroom and the height adjustable seat. I am 6' 4" and am very comfortable driving even with the seat in its highest position. The ride comfort is pretty good for a small car and fuel economy is excellent around town at 42mpg. I haven't checked the mpg on a long run yet but I shall be taking the car to France in March so that should give it a decent test. Overall I would say the car is very good and I would definitely consider another one. The main downside in my opinion is that there was no option for alloys and aircon on the 1.3 as standard, you had to step up to the 1.5 which also meant higher emissions and therefore higher VED.
