Good Points

I loved my Pug 205 1.9. It was my best mate. We went to hell and back together. The car overall was just outstanding. I can't really say anything bad about it. When I get back to Scotland from Australia I am going to get another one.

It is a top car, great fun, and amazing value for money.


Bad Points

I had problem with the rear axel that the tops of the wheels were sitting in.


General Comments

Anybody who is thinking of buying a Peugeot 205 1.9, go for it! Remember and check the rear axel, and don't let your missus make you sell it, like me. If you need any advice, just leave a message on the Review Centre forum.

    I've still got the mighty 205 GTi monster I love it spent a bit of money on keeping it on the road (just wear and tear) but saying that its the best car I've had. Only problem - it's off the road the now need a back axle.

    hi, i am thinking of buying a 205 gti, i am tempted with the 1.9 engine because there isnt really much diffrence in my insurance. Are threre any things i should look out for when buying one? i have heard the the back axles can be dodgey.
