Money when I needed it
Low credit limit to start with (sensible)
Good customer service
Not kept in the telephone queue for hours
No internet banking
Some shops wouldn't accept it
High interest
To be honest, I was very pleasantly surprised when using my card. I expected there to be non-stop problems like other reviews suggested, and I was very happy to find out there wasn't any!!!
I got the Capital One Classic card just before Christmas when I was in severe financial trouble, and desperately needing money, and I was surprised to find I was accepted, in spite of everyone else turning me down. It arrived within 2 weeks, and I started using it immediately. The only trouble I found with the card, was that some people would decline it when it was in limit, which can be VERY embarrassing when at the checkouts at Asda with 12 people behind you and no cash!! I found Asda and T-Mobile declined it, although there were plenty of funds available.
Another point to mention, which is a good tip, is to set up a standing order to pay it, therefore creating no room for late charges etc. I think I pay the minimum monthly payment of about £8, and I have never had a problem.
I'm very pleased with the service, and I would definitely recommend!!
