Different from any other Department store.
Quality quality quality

It is a store well renowned in this area for classy, quality goods of many descriptions.

On entering the store on the ground floor you will be met by a gorgeous array of cosmetics and perfumes, the ones you will have heard of that ring expensive but worth it! I am a frequent visitor to the Estee Lauder counter; I just love those cosmetics! There are many others such as Clinique, Lancome and Guerlain; you know the types of brands I mean - the top of the range stuff that includes a beautifully made-up consultant at the counter ready to help you make your purchase!

There is also a very large selection of quality perfumes and after shaves. Testers are usually available for you to try the fragrances, and the assistant is usually on hand to help you if a tester is not displayed. Again, these are all top of the range fragrances, so expect to pay the price!

Across the other side there is a costume jewellery Department, a hosiery area, handbags, purses and other accessories. Towards the rear of the shop there is sports wear.

Heading to the lower ground floor, there are gifts and electrical items aplenty.

Going up will take you to the restaurant - very nice food and great coffee, served by friendly staff in a nicely furnished, open plan large area either overlooking the shop or the through the window toward the back of the shop, overlooking a part of old Exeter.
Also on this floor, up a few steps, are the very clean toilets!

Looking further around, this floor is split level. The rest of the shop floor is full of clothes of every description, beautiful designer wear - none of it cheap! If quality is what you want and you don't mind paying the price, you will usually find what you are looking for. Evening wear is out of this world! And you would be hard pressed to find a better outfit for a wedding anywhere else!

The Lingerie department is also on this floor. Undies your man (and you!) would die for - the usual top quality brands like Gossard.

Dingles is quite a quaint Department store. Dingles of Exeter is our House of Fraser Department store here in Exeter. It still has the charms of yesteryear, but with upmarket top products on sale. Exeter is undergoing major redevelopment at present, due to be completed towards the end of 2007. This does not affect this store in any way, and I hope it never changes from a little bit of old Exeter.

Well worth a visit if you are ever in the area.

Oh yes, I nearly forgot, there is also a Hairdressing department in the store, and also a wig department for quality hairpieces fitted by a professional.

Everything to make a woman feel like a lady.
(But there is menswear in the store too! And children's clothing!)

If you are male and need to buy for the female in your life, the staff here are always ready to help you find the perfect gift for your lady.
