Really really is Parallax free unlike other red dots I have tested that claimed to be.
This truly is the best value parallax free red dot, compared to Aimpoint and Bushnell which are 5 times more expensive.
Adco Edots come in 4 different models from 47 mm downwards.
I wish I had known about them before, instead of wasting my money on non parallax free Red Dots.
Only sold in US, altough it only cost me £40 including Airmail ($78) from www.doropaintball.com
Only $60 in the US without Airmail.
I already have 2 hawke Red dots an RD 30 and an RD 25.
So I know what I am talking about when it comes to parallax.
I gave it a very vigorous testing and stood the normal red dot and the Adco E Dot side by side on top of a stable flat surface.
I pointed them both out a window at a chimney stack.
I moved my head from side to side and up and down for both the red dots.
Basically the ADCO E Dot has no horizontal parallax.
Or if if there was any then I didn't notice it.
The only prarallax that I detected after 15 minutes testing it was vertical parallax.
This only occurs at the extreme top and extreme bottom of the scope.
So when you are using it just make sure the red dot is somewhere vaguely central on the lens. Then just point and shoot.
Having a parallax free red dot is such a pleasure compared to a normal red dot.
Just point and shoot.
It is a hassle using a normal red dot.
Making sure the dot is over target then checking the front and rear lenses are inline (which you can't do in the dusk, because there is no shadow formed internally).
Also, it takes me less than half the time to shoot now that I have an ADCO.
Please don't think an Aimpoint clone is parallax free. I have tested one of those and then returned it to the liar at the shop that said it was parallax free.
Don't be fooled. As far as I know the only companies that offer parallax free red dots are Adco, Aimpoint, Bushnell (Holosight) and Swift Instruments used to make one and they are working on a new design for one.
Don't buy something on EBAy for £50 that claims to be parallax free because it won't be (unless it is an ADCO E-Dot ).
I think that ADCO should charge more for them because ADCO isn't a well known name and you would assume they couldn't be parallax free. Or would assume they are poor quality.
They are not doing themselves any favours.
I really can't recommend these enough.
I have just bought another one for one of my other airguns.
