Fully equipped for commuting
Good quality frame and components
Good low gear for steep hills
Attractive design
Wheels could be stronger
Tyres susceptible to punctures
Some parts must be renewed en bloc e.g. front chainrings
Attractive and good value leisure/commuting bicycle which comes fully equipped with good quality mudguards and rack. The cycle has an aluminium frame which is reasonably light, and basic but fair quality Shimano derailleur gears. I have been very happy with this cycle, using it for my 8 mile round trip daily commute for a year with no problems. I have found that the front chainrings wear out rather quickly, and all three must be replaced together, which is a little disappointing. Also, as on many cycles at this price, the wheels are not terribly strong, going out of true quite easily, and the original tyres are not puncture resistant. All in all however, a great workhorse bike. I would buy another.
