It's a great little controller for only about $20. The buttons have generally been quite responsive, the analog sticks have worked very well for as long as I've owned it (a year and a half) and compatibility has never been a problem.
After about a year, the most-used buttons begin losing their "return bounce", making it hard to hit it rapid fire. They're still responsive, so in most applications a remapping of buttons to the less-used ones will fix the issue.
The Logitech Dual Action Gamepad has been very well behaved as long as I've had it and it works great with emulators of all kinds.
