The operator could not find the emergency telephone number for me to report a gas escape. Her response was "I have no listing for a company called Gas Escape". Even when I explained, if you look in the Phone Book there is a page with Gas and who to contact for an emergency gas escape, she gave the same answer.
General Comments
I will no longer use Yell 118 247, but I will try some of the others. Yell directory enquiries may be cheaper in comparison tests, but not if you are not given the number you need.

They cannot be expected to know everything... they are trained to search their database in a certain way.
