Light, easy to carry around. Fair, often good picture quality, over a wide range of different picture types.
Quite fun to use, and fairly flexible in use. Not bad, for the price, I thought, until mine started falling apart (NOT what has happened to any of my previous cameras).
Fragile case: mine has just sprung apart at one corner, possibly after a knock too slight to have been noticed. So far, no effective help from Canon helpline.
External battery charging, no battery-failing indicator, poor battery charge life.
'Scenes' are a bit clunky, though a couple work well.
What can you say about the Canon Ixus 800 IS, when the thing's completely failed? I was quite pleased with it until then.
