Horribly implemented. Endlessly frustrating. Lots of junk email.
General Comments
It's a very worthy idea but there are sites out there that offer the same thing but better - http://www.ecyclebin.com for one. Sign up to freecycle.org if you really have to, but it's hard work.

After joing freecycle for a couple of months, I just got fed up reading the messages.
ecycle.com is definitely much much better.
