Good Points

The credit card (not the charge card) has no annual fee, and offers up to 1.5% cashback. For someone like myself who pays off the balance in full every month, this is an excellent benefit. The online statement and payment facility is also excellent.


Bad Points

Not yet accepted at every retailer in the UK. I was recently refused at an "Ember Inn", but the meal there was awful, and I won't be visiting there again, so not much of a problem. I don't think Woolworths will accept Amex either.


General Comments

Unless something better than the American Express Platinum credit card comes on the market, I wouldn't want to swap. I am still keep my Alliance & Leicester Visa card as a reserve, for the rare occasions when Amex isn't accepted. The card looks good too!
