APR 16.9%, 2.9% charge for balance transfers
I have had my Mint credit card for 3 years, and I have never had any problems with their service. When I applied for my card there was no charge for balance transfers. However, they now charge at 2.9%, which is around the same for most credit cards. They also had a very competitive offer of 11 months interest free credit on balance transfers, which at the time was one of the best deals available for credit cards. I see now that they still compete well with other cards, with 0% balance transfers until November 2007.
My credit limit started off at around £1500 and quickly climbed up to £6000. The current APR is at 16.9%, which isn't great, but it's OK if like me you pay your bill off in full every month.
The only problems I have had with Mint were caused by their tight security measures. These included: refusing a payment I made over the Internet because it was so large. However, this was quickly resolved over the phone. When purchasing online I need to enter parts of my password before the payment is accepted, and I have never had this from any other credit card. However, although it is a pain at the time, tight security is a good thing.
