General Comments

Welcome to 1992, you play Carl "CJ" Johnson returning back to the 'hood' where he grew up. Although much has changed, and you need to sort it all out, before its too late...

When I thought Vice City & the GTA: Series couldn't get any better, all of a sudden it did. With new and exciting missions, vehicles new and old and the gameplay, this was the best of the bunch for me.

Good Points + ;

The gameplay has been redesigned slightly with the introduction of the new analogue control. As soon as the game starts you enter into "CJ"s world, learning about his family and why he's back. Straight away busted by the cops and your out on your own again.

The main points I really like is the new Size of the map, with new areas and cities to explore, with there own distinct feel. You have Los Santos with the low-wealth hood feel, San Fierro, with the big city feel, jobs and opportunities and even Las Venturas with the High-Rolling gambling.

With the introduction of new 'Street Families' it makes it more exciting and new 'Drive By Shooting' and 'Gang Wars' makes it really realistic.

Bad Points - ;

As to mentions the plusses (+) out-weigh out the minuses (-) by a long shot. Although I'm disappointed with the weapon selection and low detail interactivity, much like many in the series. Once again with hardly no A.I. interaction it is still to be expected, run up to someone and punch / shoot them and they fight back, that's as far as it goes. Once again like many game, [Vice City, GTA: III] the graphics are not brilliant or breathtaking, although the gameplay controls the game, which is what I seem to prefer.

Overall ;

Overall I feel this game is the best in the series, which is something considering that Vice City was highly rated. Although it has bad points, the main thing is that the good ones out-weigh these. Addictiveness is a plus in this game. Be Warned.
