Powerful - 430fps - 6.9gr pellet
28 - Shots - what fun
Very consistent between shots-fps
Go through pellets way too quickly!
Loading magazine is timeous - but please take care of doing correctly!!
Me and a friend bought this CO2 pistol despite all the negative comments out there, the 28 -shot mags intrigued us. I own a CP88 and a CP99, both extremely nice guns, especially the CP88.
So what have we experienced so far:
1- No jams, none!!! Between the two of us probably 500 shots fired.
2- Very accurate after setting sigths - excellent grouping at 10m
3- 430fps average with Prometheus Dynamic Triple P1's, best 452fps
4- Very consistent between shots, 6 shots in succession, double action - 420-440fps. That beats the CP88 even.
5- Shot 50 to 56 average still above 400fps
6- No gas leaks yet.
7- Strings of 14 shots, double action with no freezing - great fun!!
So what do we do different?
1- When loading CO2 cannister, ensure you tighten with screw as tight as you can before popping it.
2- OIL the gun after dissasembly (check manual), on the rails and where metal make contact with each other.
3- OIL the magazines, until running smoothly.
4- Take care when loading pellets into magazine, I use my nail to push the pellet ever so slighlty deeper than flush at the back of the plastic pellet holder.
5- ENSURE after loading pellets to ALIGN the pellet meganism so that a pellet is presented in the firing position.
6- ENSURE to close the little plastic rod that closes the loading gap in the magazine.
7- We only use Prometheus Dynamic Triple P1 - 6.9 grain pellets.
8- After shooting the two magazines we open the meganism (slowly!!) and throw away the cannister, there is realy not that much gas left.
9- So far we have only used Crosman CO2 powerlets.
What are we currently doing - trying our best to get F-1's, one guy claims 575fps with Prometheus pellets - WOW!!!
