General Comments

The MorphyRichards 48268 is a rubbish breadmaker - avoid this one! I bought one a week ago, have attempted to make 3 loaves and I am taking it back to the shop today.

The paddle, which is supposed to stay vertical for the mixing cycle, falls down unless you wedge it with a knob of butter. The baking tin is very difficult to insert or remove without some sort of culinary Heimlich maneuver and the tin handle bent the first time I used it.

It is very large, bordering on bulbous and the design looks cheap and tacky, with unnecessary stick on plastic bits and a wobbly lid.

Loaves were OK following minor recipe adjustments, though perhaps a little solid. On 1 out of my 3 loaves the large paddle remained stuck in the loaf, leaving about half of it with a huge hole.

I will probably try one of the highly recommended Panasonics next.
