General Comments

I purchased this rifle based on the recommendation of JR (see and praise it below). Thank you for your excellent and persuasive review, JR! Becoming an enthusiast of air rifles and target shooting fairly late, it took me some time to find the perfect product. I started with the Gamo Delta that proved to be fairly accurate, but somewhat weak. I tried the Daisy Powerline 856 that was a stunning disappointment: no power, no accuracy (well, at least it is cheap!?). Then I tried the best and mightiest, the Gamo Hurricane 1250. It was accurate and powerful, but very heavy, very loud and somewhat pricey (not to mention the cocking effort: after five loads your arm loses all the strength to hold it steady enough to fire). Then I found the RWS Model 94 (once again, per JR's recommendation). This gun has it all! I received mine from Compasseco Inc. for a little over $ 200, with a scope, a C-mount and in perfect condition (no rust, packaging deficiencies, whatsoever). The rifle surprised me right away with its accuracy: on fifth attempt it hit the 100 yard target from 30 yard dead on center. I thought it was just an accident, but after this it hit 10 of 10 shots within a 1 inch square from the same distance (I used pointed Copperhead pellets). It hit earlier holes, giving the impression to your friends that you just made those holes yourself. The rifle is light, not very loud, the cocking effort is easy (even for a lady) and it is a sturdy product that emanates quality from the moment one lifts it out of its box. The woodwork is impeccable. The screws are tight, the trigger is sharp. My journey has ended. This is IT! The perfect rifle that shoots perfect shots like the sniper rifle in your favorite video game.

I'm glad you liked my review, and your gun, I would never steer anyone wrong. I shoot mine more than my Ruger 1022, because it shoots better! heheh
All I can say for the Gamo owners, and the poor missguided souls that wasted money on a winchester 1000 is, you shoulda listened.
