Fast handling, reasonably accurate.

Bought a new Remington 760 in 30/06 caliber around 1980. Would have rather had a carbine length barrel but bought what was on the rack. I left the original open sights on since my eyes were better then and I figured my shots would be close and quick. With open sights I could keep my shots on a paper plate at about 50 yards. The gun was dependable and never missed a beat with any loads I fed it. It's another of my "wish I'd have kept it" guns.
