genzu's Review of Hacky Sack

Overall Rating
- Value for money

An okay bag for just doing basic kicks. More durable than super cheap-o footbags.
Bad Points
Not well suited for freestyle footbag (doing tricks with stalls/delays):
Too light, making the bag a little harder to control.
The material is too rigid, meaning that the bag will roll off your foot (rather than give) when you try to stall it.
The material is too slippery, meaning that the bag could easily slide off your foot (particularly when doing osis-type tricks).
Footbag is not particularly round.
General Comments
The Hacky Sack is made in China. If you want something just to kick around, this will work, but even for basic kicks you will find that it's rigidness makes it a bit too bouncy for control. No serious footbag player would waste their time with a footbag like this one. Hacky Sack is but one brand name of footbag - many pro's use Freedom Footbags.
