Good Points

Incredibly stable. All other boards that I've used with all my dodgy hardware can't handle it, but the Asus A7V8X-MV NEVER crashes, even with Microsoft!


Bad Points

More expensive than cheap-o boards!


General Comments

I bought the Asus A7V8X-MX to replace a cheap-o I've had that wouldn't start up when you press the power button until you reset it when it was running (Had VIA Chipset!). What I noticed was much better stability and more power!
Having an Asus board in your PC with a slow processor (1.6 AMD) is like having a Nova GTE Injection head on a 1.0 Litre Nova engine. It's not much faster, but you get smoother torque and a cleaner run over a Carburettor!
