Customer service
I have had this card for three months, and so far I have twice been informed by a collections agent that I have been charged a late fee, when I have not received a statement. I have never been late with a payment in my life, and U have an excellent credit history. I have written countless letters to the Halifax, and I have had no reply to date. I have found most of their operators to be very unhelpful and unfriendly. At the beginning of this month I decided to pay the balance off in full, and close the credit card account, rather than give my business to the Halifax. I am now £30 out of pocket, and I have decided to stick with my old credit card MINT, which I have never had any problems with.
