Good Points

The original hot hatch and still the best around. People talk about Saxos and Clios but the thing is they are French and no French car will ever compare to a German (- I hate to say it but the German cars are simply the best). I have the 1.8 GTi MK1 Cab Coca Channel TD edition - they only ever 500 and they are very highly sort after - I can't see any one wanting a little girls car like the Saxo in 21 years time.


Bad Points

I also own a new BMW which makes the Golf seem hard to drive but it isn't - you just have to drive the golf differently to newer cars - any young kid can drive today but I would like to see them in one of these.


General Comments

I'm now 35 and had to wait until I was 31 before I could get my hands on this - I still don't get much time to use her but could never part with her - I only did 300 miles last year and turned down an offer of £3000 for her and this is an old c reg - I could have sold it and bought 3 Saxos for that but then again that would have been stupid.
