Ladies, this makeup is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I think Max factor (Proctor & Gamble) made an enormous mistake in discontinuing the product. Instead of paying R & D for developing new foundations, they should have better promoted Facefinity!!!
What a tremendous loss to the consumer, and the company!!! I am sure that if the research pertaining to the Facefinity line had been carried out appropriately, the company would have seen that those who had tried the product loved it.
Bad Points
The discontinuance of the Facefinity product, in my opinion, had more to do with the company's inability to promote the product than it did with the quality of the product. I tried the foundation based on a recommendation, and I think it is one of the best foundations on the market. If I had tried it sooner, I would have been buying it rather than the one I had been using. How many other women out there could have been buying the product with the right promotional campaigns? I think a sample would have been well worth the investment, because the product is really that good!
General Comments
Max Factor should consider bringing the Facefinity foundation back. Please give your market-share more credit than to assume current customers will think that newer products will mean better products. If the company wasn't pleased with a superior product like Facefinity, then good luck promoting the replacement line! Quality is what the customer says it is. Did you ask your customers for feedback before pulling the product off the shelves?
