Heat sensor
Long battery life of the 'downstairs' monitor section when not on the stand
Great reception
You can't move the upstairs monitor without unplugging it
We have had the monitor for 2 years, and have found it to be fantastic. We have it on level 2 out of 10, which is easily enough to hear our daughter crying. We haven't found any problems with reception, and we take the Tomy Walkabout Premier Digital monitor outside in the summer, and it's great.
I felt I needed to balance out all the bad reports that seem to be here.
