I wanted to change my car, so I asked them for an update on the amount I could borrow; bearing in mind that my old car would be used for a deposit. We chose a car, but we were told that the car was out of our price range, and then we found something within our budget.
I rang British Credit Trust to give them the details, but I was angry when they said that the car was too old! The year of the car was 2000. Surely it's up to me whether I have an older car? They will finance me for a new car, but they will not finance me for an older one. I am now trying to get another loan to buy the car I want. When I do I will be giving the car back to BCT, as after two years of payments I am able to do so.
