Has many features like a calender and notebook. I regularly uploaded documents on to the nano rather than paper. The sound is of high quality and has a good top end volume. As for looks, every one knows what one looks like nowadays. Battery life is very good and the size means that you can put it anywhere.
Apple always try to force you to do things a certain way. i.e itunes transfer only on to an ipod. This is a long winded version if you play music from your "my music" folder on your pc using WMP. I had to take mine back 3 times due to blown earphones and freezing problems. Reliability is non-existent and i ended up getting a PSP. But then again an ipod is an ipod and nothing is quite like one.
It is a very nice piece of kit, but i realized that it isn't for me. The memory is good but not enough for people with lots of music. Many people buy the 40gb or the 60gb and then transfer their whole music collection on to it. The shop i got it from were understanding and replaced it with no problems. But the reliability was a problem as i also used it as a hard drive, so when it froze the work was inaccessable. Overall they are very popular and they are cool to have, although Sony and other makes are now working on looks and have brought out some very nice mp3 players.
