Shooting on a 15yd. indoor range, I find this rifle extremely accurate w/a Leapers scope, (open sights are just adequate). I also find 4-5 pellets that work well and can adjust sights for pinpoint accuracy w/any.
Cros hunt, hollow pt. RWS superdome & the heavier hollow point are also excellent. I shall evaluate some match pellets, but I truly use my 440 for hunting. My best shots have been 40-45 yd. w/Cros Premiere Hollow Pt's.
Trigger, although adjustable I still have yet to find a comfortable adjustment, not quite precise.
Recoil, ( Twang),annoying and I beleive takes away from better accuracy.
Poor finish on stocks, and easily broken front sight.
Excellent buy in this price range. A little tweaking, pellet selection, and patience results in a very satisfying mid-priced, powerful air rifle.
