Good Points

The crew were very good
Hygiene was good
The tour guide very good


Bad Points

Awful vessel
Unacceptable cabin accommodation
Smoking allowed everywhere except the dining room
Meals rushed
Pillows, bed linen and towels were awful


General Comments

The accommodation on-board the Discover Egypt Viking Premier cruise is just not acceptable. There are plenty of good boats on the river Nile, but the viking II is not one of them. Unless you have the lowest budget you will be disappointed with the Viking II.
