Good Points

Zany humour.

None really, got a bit repetitive towards the end of its run.

General Comments

Vic and Bob's mapcap "spoof" comedy show was a real highlight of BBC2's mid-nineties comedy schedule. Shooting Stars often poked fun at celebrity guests and would require at least one celebrity to become involved in a screwball game as a finale for a ridiculous prize(often comprising a very small financial reward). I wouldn't recommend buying the DVD's of this show but certainly look out for repeats on the telly. Let me see those fingers!! The show was an early vehicle showcasing the emerging comedic talent of regular Matt Lucas, who kept score and played the drums.
