Nothing, well OK maybe too many mailshots (Forests are being cut down to supply this lot you know), and they don't have the ability on the website to 'mix your own cases'. You pick from pre-mixed or the same wine.
I love ordering wine from them (and not just for the pleasure of drinking it).
The staff at the end of the phone are always so helpful. They are polite, go out of their way to help and advise, and they really know their stuff. If you don't like a wine for any reason, call then, and they send you a replacement or credit the cost - no argument no fuss. Laithwaites (Formerly Bordeaux direct) have some great offers, including wine clubs and new customer offers.
All I can say is that they must be a really good company to work for, as the staff always seem happy to be there, and their customer service training is excellent. Delivery is always on time, and any problems are immediately rectified. Oh, and the end product is always excellent too.
