Good Points

Have battled on our behalf with a no-fault claim since August '06 (it's now Jan 07). Their customer services were initially helpful, especially as First Alternative's recovery agent, Green Flag, through a local company, Avondale in Notts, damaged our vehicle even more on recovery and refused at first to admit it.


Bad Points

Things have ground to a halt! The insurers for the (guilty) party in the accident are now not admitting liability, even though there were plenty of witnesses. Why has it taken FA this long to even try and contact the witnesses? Why is there an 'office closed' message for Halifax Insurance on their helpline number on a Monday between office hours. What is going on?


General Comments

FA, or E-sure, or Halifax (who actually owns whom?) have let themselves down and us. It's a good job they backed down when they tried to put our premium up on renewal.
