I have the SS 1000T combo with great 3x9 Beeman scope. Parallax is adjustable from 7.5 yds to 100 yds. I have tried five different pellets and accurancy is good with all. Penetration is phenomenal in .177. Kodiak extra heavy match pellets are the most accurate and pack the most punch on squirrels. Points well. I have added a strong flashlight and laser for use in dark.
Cocking effort is something to get used too. Squirrels do not like it.
This is an adult size rifle and handles well. Great for training and hunting small game. Has great shootability. By that, it balances well; points naturally; looks great too. I have had mine since the first of December 2006 and have been very pleased.
