It uses typical Web 2.0/Ajax features for dynamically refreshing parts of the screen - which make it a bit different from other websites. It is easy to navigate, and the registration is done in 3 seconds.

General Comments
It is a nicely done website, but only for flirting. It is not for dating or meeting real people.
After I registered on the Flirtomatic website, I already had a message, although I did not even upload a picture, which is very suspicious, being a guy.
Then I registered again with a different username, and the same...so I found out they automatically send random messages to members, to keep them entertained. Then I also thought the numbers of people that are online is also faked, but some of them actually replied and it seems real. However, I doubt there are that many members really online, as nobody on the 3rd or 4th page ever replied. I have checked alexa.com for the traffic range of the website, and it looks a bit suspicious, so it might appear bigger then it really is. Also, the number of members with "over 180,000" is not correct, as meanwhile I have probably 30 accounts there myself - as it is quicker to create a new profile than to look for your password and username, as your usernames are also generated automatically.
