Good Points

The practical internal design is good for a family of 4 plus gear. I liked the flat floor between the front seats - allows good storage options. Good headroom and light feel, particularly with the sunroof. Good fuel economy - overall average 51 mpg over 60k miles.


Bad Points

Where should I start? Handling is poor, with a soft ride and bad wallowing on corners. Performance is very weak - no acceleration when loaded. If you want to accelerate from 50 to 70 to overtake, forget it. Numerous mechanical and electrical failures and recalls - poor reliability. Turbo and engine failure just after the warranty expired cost £1000s. Poor response from the manufacturer.


General Comments

I was prepared to overlook the poor handling and performance for the space and economy, but the mechanical reliability was completely unacceptable. I would be wealthier today if I had simply scrapped it on the day the warranty expired. Overall verdict after 3.5 years of ownership: I wouldn't have another if they were giving them away.
