Bad Points

Bad communication.
Bank charges.
Cheques returned because they had issued me with the wrong numbers, thus giving a bad impression of my business to suppliers.
Endless time spent trying to put their mistakes right - need I go on??


General Comments

They have cost me money rather than helping my business: if I charged them my hourly rate for the time I've spent trying to sort things out, they would owe me a bob or two!

Question: If First Direct can provide the service they do for personal banking customers, why can't Abbey National deliver anything remotely comparable for businesses? I wanted a simple bank account which would keep my business finances separate to my personal affairs. I got a headache. I think AN have bitten off more than they can chew.
