This is one fantastic bass, it has so many good points.
The sound quality is bang on, it has a rich, warm, yet punchy tone. It is hard to describe.
Secondly The looks, i have given this bass a good inspection, it is very well made, it looks like pride has been taken to produce it, it is very well finished, it has an awesome trans-brown wood effect finish.
This is complete value for money, it looks and sounds at least 3 times the price of it, i got mine for £235, well worth every single penny.
Bad points about this bass, well the only problem i have is that it uses extra long scale strings, this is not all bad, but the strings i use (rotosound jazz bass flatwounds) do not fit properly so i have to get the E string re-adjusted to fit ( an expert can do this without damaging the strings quality). Sometimes i do use different strings though which fit straightout of the pack. It is simply down to preference.
The Strap holder is also in a different position at the neck end, but it took me about 30mins to get used to.
The only other thing that could be a bad point is that it is flippin huge, and has a long scale, so is difficult to play in confined areas.
Overall this is a bargain. It is a top quality bass, it has a professional sound, and is a fantastic bass. It is quite light, it has great action, it is not to difficult to play and it looks stunning.
The only other things i can say is, if you can play it through a Marshall amp it sounds so good, and maybe add a little extra sustain to make it linger just that little bit more, it sounds so good.
My advice buy it, great bass to have in your collection.
