Got the Nuvi in the Christmas sales for £199. Absolute bargain and I'm most impressed. The unit is small enough to sit in my ashtray so you don't have to use the windscreen mount. Clear instructions, very quick recalculations and a full 7 digit postcode search. My new Best Friend!
The initial satellite search can take up to 5 minutes. Once it has located the satellites you are away. There is no mains charger, but you can use any Motorola SLVR range Phone charger - I got one in the shops for £12.
The Garmin Nuvi 300 is portable enough to use as a pedestrian as well as in your car. It's a great all rounder and in my opinion is better than my previous sat nav - the Tom Tom One.
