Good Points

This is an extremely nice looking rifle for the price. It reminds me of a .270 or 22-250. There is no Beeman oval sticker on the side of the stock!

General Comments

This Beeman shot within 1/2" of where I was aiming first shot! The backyard range is about 30 yards. The Beeman comes to point almost like magic. It is very stable and has a suprisingly good trigger for a springer. I don't feel the need to do any adjusting of the trigger yet.
I am aware that this gun is actually a Norica made in Spain. In fact, there was a Beeman GS950 sticker on top of the Norica logo which is on top of the gun behind the rear sight. The sticker comes off with a little WD40 and looks much better.
The twang of the spring typical of springers is well supressed. The GS950 has an almost straight back recoil which is not as bad as my Daisy 1000S. It handles much better than the Daisy as well.
There was no smoke at all right from the start.
This gun is a pleasure to shoot and is attractive as well. The wood is well marbled and finished very nicely with no thin spots or sanding marks at all.
To sum this up, I am amazed how well this gun comes to point so naturally. It is accurate so far shooting Straton Diabolo 15.9g .22 cal pellets. A very nice, well balanced gun that is a pleasure to shoot.
Hope this helps.
Dave

Check out the rifle on Beeman's site. There's a gold sticker on the side of the stock, just above the trigger.

    www.beeman.com/gold-gs950.htm

You can remove it, but the stock is recessed underneath, so there will be an oval-shaped flat spot left when it's gone.

Sorry, you're wrong, No sticker and no recess on the stock.

Here's a photo of the rifle on the Airgun Express website:

Maybe this reviewer got one without the sticker, but mine came with the sticker. The rifles pictured on Beeman's, Pyramid's, and other sites appear to have the sticker. Your results may vary.

Here's a site listing a variety of Norica airguns in the UK. Some have the sticker and some don't.

    My Two Cents Worth;
My GH950 also has no ugly gold Beeman emblem "ANY Where" on my Gold Series rifle recently bought from
the Sportsmans Guide.Don't know why I was so lucky, but I'm grateful and if you read my review I really love this
    rifle. It's a winner!
